Q. What is Annual NDV Giving Day Campaign?
Giving Day annually invites gifts of financial donations and/or prayers from various constituencies of the school: friends, faculty, alumni, grandparents, parishioners and the business community. We begin our Campaign with those who best understand and support the school- you, our parents, GiveGab.
Q. How does Giving Day differ from other fundraising at NDV?
Giving Day is part of Les Amis de NDV Campaign, an annual multiphase fundraising effort, focused on reaching our broader NDV community through social media and community outreach. It allows the administration to document our community's support of the school, which helps raise funds from outside sources like foundations and corporations.
Q. Why are we having another NDV fundraiser?
$4,000 is the approximate difference between what it costs to educate an NDV student and what tuition covers. The NDV Parents Association covers "extras" in our sports programs, athletic director, outdoor education week, cultural activities and field trips. Giving Day helps meet on-going operational expenses, invests in capital improvements at the school, and provide scholarships to our teachers via professional development or help cover tuition cost for their children to attend NDV.
Q. Don't parents have enough of a financial burden with paying tuition?
No doubt, parents make a significant commitment just by paying tuition. In the Parent Phase of Les Amis, we seek 100% participation in the form of financial donations and/or prayers, which is of paramount importance over dollars raised. Your participation in NDV Giving Day demonstrates to the greater community your commitment and belief in our school. This, in turn encourages involvement from other sources, which is the ultimate goal of Les Amis de NDV Campaign. All parents are asked to give thoughtful reflection to what they are able to give.
Q. When is Giving Day?
Giving Day is on November 30, 2021 from midnight to Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 11:59 PM.
